Our centre recently hosted a successful webinar featuring distinguished researchers from around the world who shared their latest impactful research on the control of prevalent and emerging infectious diseases. The webinar, themed "Combating Emerging Infectious Diseases", was held on August 18, 2021, both at the Hong Kong Science Park and online via Zoom.

 

The webinar covered a variety of important topics regarding SARS-CoV-2 infections, including broad-spectrum vaccine design, pathogenesis, and antiviral discovery. The webinar also brought together young researchers and experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the field of infectious disease research.
